Terms of service
DMETRONIC TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service apply to your use of the DMETRONIC website and to purchases of products, digital items, software, access, programming, coding, technical support, and other services from DMETRONIC.
By using this website, placing an order, requesting a service, or making payment, you agree to these Terms, the Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and any product-specific or service-specific conditions communicated before the transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
2. Business Information
Business name: DMETRONIC
Email: dme.tronic@gmail.com
WhatsApp: +961 70 789 709
Location: Beirut, Lebanon
3. Products and Information
DMETRONIC supplies automotive electronics, ECUs, TCUs, diagnostic equipment, programming tools, key and immobilizer tools, automotive chips and components, software, online access, and technical services.
We aim to present accurate descriptions, photographs, specifications, condition information, and availability. However, product information may be updated, and errors may occasionally occur. DMETRONIC may correct errors, cancel an affected order, or contact the customer for confirmation.
A product supplied may differ cosmetically from a displayed reference image when the exact listing states that the supplied unit is functionally equivalent or carries the confirmed required identification. Compatibility must never be assumed from appearance alone.
4. Compatibility and Customer Information
The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including the VIN, vehicle model and year, exact part number, hardware number, software number, control-unit identification, tool information, and technical request when required.
DMETRONIC may assist with compatibility verification, but final compatibility can depend on vehicle configuration, previous modifications, programming, coding, immobilizer data, software version, regional specification, and installation procedure.
The customer must not order or install automotive electronic products based only on appearance.
5. Professional Installation and Use
Automotive electronic parts, tools, software, and technical services should be used by qualified professionals with appropriate equipment, knowledge, power supply, safety procedures, and backups.
The customer is responsible for correct installation, diagnosis, programming, coding, connection, voltage stability, data backup, and compliance with vehicle-manufacturer procedures and applicable laws.
DMETRONIC is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, reverse polarity, unstable voltage, wrong connection, unsuitable tools, interrupted programming, incorrect files, water damage, physical damage, unauthorized modification, or improper use.
6. Orders and Acceptance
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. DMETRONIC may request additional information, compatibility confirmation, identity or payment verification, shipping details, or technical clarification.
An order may be refused or cancelled before fulfillment if a product is unavailable, information is incomplete, payment is not confirmed, the transaction presents unusual risk, the destination cannot be served, or an error affects the listing or price.
7. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in the store currency unless otherwise stated. Shipping, insurance, customs duties, import taxes, payment fees, programming, installation, and other charges may be additional.
Available payment methods vary according to the country, order, product, and service. Payment arrangements must be approved by DMETRONIC. Payment must be fully received and confirmed before products are shipped or services begin unless DMETRONIC agrees otherwise in writing.
The customer is responsible for payment-provider charges, exchange-rate differences, bank fees, intermediary fees, and local taxes.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is governed by the DMETRONIC Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Customs processing, carrier delays, incorrect addresses, remote destinations, weather, security events, and other circumstances outside DMETRONIC’s control may affect delivery.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address and for responding to the carrier or customs authority.
9. Returns, Refunds, and Electronics Policy
Returns, exchanges, replacements, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the DMETRONIC Return and Refund Policy.
Automotive electronics have no general commercial warranty unless a specific listing states otherwise. Customers must inspect deliveries and report visible damage, incorrect items, missing items, or suspected faults within 2 calendar days after delivery.
Installed, opened, powered, programmed, coded, modified, soldered, damaged, or otherwise altered electronic products are not normally returnable unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
10. Digital Products and Remote Services
Availability of remote services depends on the vehicle, control unit, software, hardware, tool, internet connection, access rights, account status, and exact technical request.
The customer must provide a suitable computer, stable internet connection, compatible interface, correct vehicle connection, stable power supply, and any legally required authorization.
Digital products, software, access, downloads, activation codes, tuning files, completed programming, completed coding, and remote sessions are normally non-refundable after delivery, activation, download, access, or commencement, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
No technical result is guaranteed when required information, equipment, access, vehicle condition, or system support is missing or incompatible.
11. Lawful Use
Products, software, files, and services must be used only for lawful purposes and on vehicles or systems the customer owns or is authorized to service.
The customer is responsible for compliance with emissions, road-safety, cybersecurity, intellectual-property, licensing, privacy, and vehicle-modification laws in the relevant jurisdiction.
DMETRONIC may refuse requests that appear unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent, unauthorized, or technically inappropriate.
12. Intellectual Property
The DMETRONIC name, logo, website design, original text, graphics, and original materials may not be copied, reproduced, resold, or used without written permission.
Third-party trademarks, product names, and manufacturer names belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and compatibility information.
13. Third-Party Products and Services
Some products, payment services, carriers, software platforms, and online services are provided or operated by third parties. Their separate terms, availability, licenses, accounts, fees, and policies may apply.
DMETRONIC is not responsible for an independent third party’s systems, outages, account decisions, carrier delays, policy changes, or service availability.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DMETRONIC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, vehicle downtime, towing, storage, labor, installation, diagnosis, programming, third-party charges, or business interruption.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, DMETRONIC’s maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected product or service, except where applicable law requires a different remedy.
15. Changes
DMETRONIC may update these Terms when business practices, services, legal requirements, or website features change. The version published at the time of an order normally applies to that transaction, subject to mandatory law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to DMETRONIC in Lebanon, without excluding mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s jurisdiction.
